My work will be featured in the Eccles Community Art Center's Main Gallery during December 2018. I should have 15 pieces there. The public reception is scheduled Friday, December 7, 2018, from 5 to 8 p.m. A second event, a Holiday Family Tradition, is scheduled later during the month.
In early January, I will be leaving for Scottsdale, Arizona, for my eleventh year as an artist in residence at the Celebration of Fine Art. The show is open every day from January 12 through March 24, 2019. Come enjoy the beautiful weather in Scottsdale and the other great artists at the Celebration at the southwest corner of Hayden Road and Loop 101.
This year, I have done some work in new woods: silky oak, olive wood from an olive grove in Scottsdale, chestnut from the estate of Naomi Randall, who wrote the song "I Am a Child of God." I also have pieces in woods I have worked for years, like apricot, ash, black walnut, box elder, cherry, cottonwood, honey and velvet mesquite, maple, white birch, and aspen.
In Ogden, my work can also be found at Bella Muse gallery, in association with Shana Kunz and Liz Robbins.
